Monday 24 th February
How to start this Monday?
Plan your meals and organize
your week!
What
about →
The idea of this post was born talking to a friend who has little
time to organize meals, as many people work all day and in the
evening comes home tired. Finding something ready or quick to prepare
is essential to consume nutritious and functional meals.
Changing diets can put a strain on our organization skills: meat and
fish in the freezer take time to thaw, so the key is planning if we
don't want to always eat eggs, snacks and canned food.
Some
tips →
Having a ready supply of meat preferably grass fed, fresh eggs
preferably from grazing hens and wild fish will be easier and will
make meals quick to prepare.
Cleaning vegetables is always the longest task, a way to speed up
meals is to put some already clean vegetables in separate bags, so
that you have them available either to steam them or to add to some
meat stew or super fast soups. The salad can be cleaned immediately
on return from the market and placed in a container in the
refrigerator. You can also freeze pieces of cooked meat in containers
suitable for the freezer, then thaw and add to the vegetable soup or
Bone Broth.
Variety
of foods →
A good rule of view is to vary the foods, and therefore not always
prepare the same dishes, to take advantage of greater nutritional
properties and not get bored.
If
you miss the ideas get inspiration here on the blog! You'll find
creative recipes for eating good meals.
Choosing a day of the week to make weekly meals depends on your
preferences and commitments. So it is useful to plan and write the
shopping list to avoid forgetting something and eating consciously.
This is
an example plan:
Friday - Choose meals for the following week and based on your
decisions, prepare the list of ingredients;
Saturday - Spending on fresh vegetables and fresh fruits in season,
fresh meats (the fish would be worth eating a few days after
purchase, its freshness is essential)
Sunday - Preservation of meals in containers to have ready meals in
the following days;
Can these tips help you? I think
so, if your life is hectic;
Eating consciously and
organized, saves time and gain health!
